It would have been their wedding day
Today, April 22, would have been the wedding day of Delight and Victor. The Saviour Evangelical Church in Owerri would have by now be hosting the church wedding program. Parents, relatives and friends from far and near would have adorned their beautiful dresses and wearing different fragrances that befit the occasion in the church.
The two would have signed the dotted lines after the officiating priests had joined them together as husband and wife with the permission of their parents.
The venue for the post wedding ceremony – Mega one event Place in Owerri, would have been beautiful decorated in readiness for the arrival of the newly wed, their families and guests but all that will not happen.
The wedding was cancelled three weeks to this date. This was after the due had been married traditionally six months ago( October, 2024).
The groom disclosed that his wife cancelled the wedding in a message she sent to him, alleging that they were not understanding themselves.
This is after the groom had allegedly sponsored her law school education and other contributions he made to make life easier for her while she studied law at Imo state University in Owerri.
While the groom may be counting his losses, it is imperative to remind him that a cancelled marriage is far better than a marriage that swallows the lives of the couple.
Canceling a wedding is far better than preparing for a burial after the wedding. He should take time and heal and give love a chance again. I believe his real wife is somewhere waiting for him to ask her for her phone numbers.
All be well with him. #relationships
