Eminem’s music publisher is suing Meta for over $109 million 🎤💰
Eight Mile Style — the company behind Eminem’s #music from 1995 to 2005 — is taking Meta to court, claiming copyright infringement on 243 songs. The lawsuit accuses Meta’s platforms ( #Facebook, Instagram, #WhatsApp) of letting users use his music in Reels and Original #Audio without permission.
They’re seeking $150K per song per platform — totaling $109,350,000, E! News reports.
Eminem isn’t directly involved, but the case could have major impact on how music is used in social media content.
